Beautiful Eyebrows

Beautiful Eyebrows

Eyebrows are one of our most important facial features. The shape of our eyebrows can influence the lift of the eyes or the narrowing or widening of our face. Having beautiful eyebrows can also make us look and feel much younger.

7 Steps to Beautiful Eyebrows

  1. Threading
  2. Tinting
  3. Waxing
  4. Tweezing
  5. Trimming
  6. Pencilling
  7. Shading

If you book in for a waxing/threading eyebrow treatment plus a tint (£10), this is what you can expect:

Steps 1 - 5

Threading involves removing hair using anti-bacterial cotton thread. There is temporary discomfort using this method (slight pinching sensation). It is especially good for clients with sensitive skin as there are no side effects such as irritation or rashes. I use the 'Cat's Cradle' technique, where the thread is wound between fingers only, which is the health & safety preferred method. The perfect eyebrow shape can be created, as hair is removed individually or in a straight line above the brow line to give a sharper, cleaner, more defined look.

Tinting the brows makes them darker, which helps to define the face. I use Marvelbrow which is made of natural plant extracts and is perfect for sensitive eyes. Marvelbrow lasts 6 weeks on eyebrows and also tints the skin underneath.

I also use Rectocil (patch test must be carried out at least 24 hours before the first treatment).

Waxing removes the hair at the root level under the brow line and between the brows. Some initial redness may occur, which will go down quite quickly. To help with this I apply aloe vera cooling gel to soothe the skin.

Tweezing is used to extract individual hairs to correct any imbalances at the end of the hair removal treatment

Trimming the eyebrows is the final step to the eyebrow grooming process. The eyebrows are combed upwards and trimmed using small, sharp scissors.
