Ear Lobe Piercing

Ear Lobe Piercing

Using the Caress System 2000

We use the Caress System 2000 gun method which is a medically superior Ear Piercing system recommended by Health Authorities.

The Caress studs are made in the UK, nickel-free, non-allergenic, sterilised and packed in disposable cassettes for complete safety.

We have birthstone or plain studs, all of which are 24 carat gold plated.

When you arrive for your appointment, your ear lobes will be cleansed with an antiseptic towellette and allowed to dry. Your lobes will then be marked with a surgical marker pen for precise stud location. You will be asked to check the position before before the piercing is done.

After Care

  • Do not remove the studs for 6 weeks
  • After 6 weeks remove the studs and cleanse. The stud can then be replaced.
  • Ears should be bathed by the client during the first 6 weeks

Week 1: 3 times a day

Weeks 2-3: 2 times a day

Weeks 4-6: Once a day

  • Avoid soaps and shampoos in the piercing area
  • Only use gold/gold plated studs for the first year
  • Never leave studs out for longer than 12 hours in the first year.

We do not pierce children under 6 years as their earlobes are usually too small and young children do not understand not to jerk their head which could result in ripped earlobes. If you are under 16 you will need to permission from your parent(s).
